The conscious deep sleep state of Yoga Nidra brings an incredible sense of calmness and clarity.
It is known to increase memory function and counteract the stress response. This technique is associated with therapeutic benefits for insomnia, mood and anxiety disorders, cardiovascular disease, chronic pain, gastrointestinal disorders, and other chronic conditions. Classes will begin with brief gentle body movement and careful positioning in a relaxation posture for the thirty minute guided process.
Yoga Nidra is currently offered monthly on a Friday night from 7:00 to 8:00 in Boulder at Colorado Therapies and Aquatic Center. The practice is followed by homemade hot Yogi tea, wholesome treats, and time with other participants.
Yoga Nidra practice is $15.
